• Sophomore Year.. Greek life!

  Today is my last day before school starts back, my sophomore year of college is aleady here. This weekend has been busy and stressful practicing for recruitment. It's so weird, and amazing to be on the other side of things, last year I wanted so bad to make the best impression on the sorority I liked the most. Now this year, being on the other side of it, still having to make the best impression on the new girls in hopes that they will want to be apart of our sorority. I could use Carrie's advice in this, since she was greek! Speaking of Carrie, during one of our events we play "I'll Stand By You." That makes everything that much more fun! My favorite sorority, my favorite singer, on one of the most exciting and eventful weeks of my sophomore year! I should probably get off here and get some rest because from what I hear, I won't be getting much rest during recruitment. But it's all worth it to have some amazing new sisters, as long as I can have enough time to keep checking in on the big suprise!

• Happy Birthday Carrie!

  This weekend was originally supposed to be a trip to the Grand Ole Opy to see Carrie with my mom and dad for mine and my mom's birthday, but my parents couldn't go and it turned into a trip with just me and my friend but it couldn't have gone any better! I sat at Carrie's feet while she sang "All American Girl" while fans gave her teddy bears and presents for her birthday. She commented on how she was "seeing familiar faces" :) which kind of made me think she could have been talking about me because it's the 5th time I've seen her in 4 months, and the last time she came to the Ryman before this I got to meet her outside! Best night of my life! But she was so sick and didn't have time to talk. But anyways back to this weekend, after she sang "I Told You So" she ran through and grabbed everyones hand! I was lucky enough to get to touch her, and then she came back to sign "Wasted" and waved at me when she sang! So the trip made for an exciting early birthday present for me and I hope Carrie had an amazing birthday too!
